Wing receives new
glider from U.S. Air Force Academy
Civil Air Patrol West Virginia Wing received a “new”
glider from the Air Force Academy last month. The
2002 Blanik glider will replace the glider currently
being used by the Wing. The glider was delivered to
the Grant County Airport by Lt Col Alvin Fox and
Major Ed Childers, who drove to Danville, Va. to
pick up the glider and its trailer.
